Instructions
1. You will need to use headphones to listen to this master track video. We strongly suggest using a second device for filming, with the highest resolution possible. We also recommend a high quality microphone if available.
2. Listen and watch the master track a couple times through. Get familiar with it first (this will save you some takes!) Notice the rhythms, the breaths, and the words. You'll want to try to match up as much as you can. You're welcome to sing the harmony parts or simply to sing melody the whole time. Go ahead and sing the parts marked "solo."
3. Find a quiet place to record your video - preferably in front of a blank, neutral color wall. Ideally, your face will be in the middle of the screen.
4. Open your phone or another video recording device or app and begin recording a video. Record horizontally, and keep your face in the middle of the screen as best as possible. A tripod or a human can be helpful.
5. Hit play on the master track video above that you will be listening to with headphones.
6. Proceed, singing along with the track. Remember to smile. Get into it!
7. When you are finished recording, navigate to WeTransfer.com on your computer or phone and click “add your files”. You can also click the button below. Make sure the email edavis@episcopalatlanta.org is listed as the recipient.

Tips for Successfully Recording Video
- Find a quiet place with little background noise. If you have an external recording mic, all the better, but not required.
- Record horizontal, not vertical video.
- Try to keep your face in the middle of the screen.
- A tripod or family member may be helpful for camera placement and stability, though not necessary.
- Pro Tip: Leave one earbud in your ear and the other out, so you can hear yourself sing!
- If it would help you to print out the sheet music or view it on another device you can do so below.
